Non – Perishable, Gift & Souvenir Items

All non-perishable, gift and souvenir items will be shipped Fed Ex Home Ground delivery unless other option is selected. Laura’s Candies ships within the continental USA every Monday through Friday for non perishable, gift and souvenir items. See Ground Delivery map below. Please keep in mind, Fed Ex Ground estimates are not guaranteed. Orders shipped using Ground service will arrive in 2 – 6 business days depending on how far it has to travel. Allow 7-14 days outside of the continental US. Saturday delivery is available with FedEx Ground shipping for residential addresses only. Specific delivery dates are not guaranteed when using Ground service.

All Perishable, Chocolate and Praline Items

Summer Shipping (May 1 – September 30) – Because of the long summer heat in New Orleans, all orders containing chocolate must be cold-packed to ship. In addition, any chocolate or pralines to be shipped during the summer months must be sent via Fed Ex 2nd Day Express Air to ensure your candy arrives in good form. We will only ship chocolate and praline orders on Mon, Tues. & Weds. Please keep in mind, Fed Ex 2nd Day Express Air estimates are not guaranteed. If your residential package is delayed in shipment or redelivery is necessary, Fed Ex will not attempt delivery until the following Monday. Deliveries to PO Boxes are not permitted.

Non – Summer Shipping (October 1 – April 30) – All chocolate or pralines to be shipped will be sent via Fed Ex Express Air. We will only ship chocolate and praline orders on Mon, Tues. & Weds. Please keep in mind, Fed Ex Express Air estimates are not guaranteed. If your residential package is delayed in shipment or redelivery is necessary, Fed Ex will not attempt delivery until the following Monday. Deliveries to PO Boxes are not allowed.

Our default shipping method is FedEx 2nd Day Express Air. Orders shipped using 2nd Day Express Service will arrive in 2-3 business days. If you order on a Thursday, Friday, or within one day of a holiday, we will not ship your order until the next Monday. Please note that the day the package is shipped does not count as one of the “2 Days.” (For example, packages shipped 2nd Day Express Air on Monday will arrive Wednesday).

FedEx Overnight Express shipping is always available, by request, at an additional charge. Orders will be shipped overnight and guaranteed to arrive by 7pm the following day, not counting weekends. There is no Express delivery on Sundays or holidays. Early morning and Saturday delivery is available in limited areas, by request, at an additional charge.
