Shipping Instrucions

Important - Please Read

Because of the summer heat, all orders containing chocolate must be cold-packed to ship. In addition, any cold-pack orders to be shipped outside of Louisiana or Mississippi must be sent via 2-Day Priority mail to ensure your candy arrives in good form. We will only ship chocolate orders on Mon, Tues. & Weds. Please be sure to choose the appropriate shipping method when checking out.

Laura's Candies ships within the continental USA every Monday through Thursday. If your recipent lives within a one day delivery range of New Orleans (see the following map), and the shipping address is residential, your package will ship on Friday for Saturday delivery. However, keep in mind Fedex Ground estimates are not guaranteed. If your residential package is delayed in shipment or redelivery is necessary, Fedex will not attempt delivery until the following Tuesday. Rural addresses can take up to five business days. Deliveries to PO Boxes and college dormitories only ship by US Priority Mail.

Our default shipping method is FedEx Ground. Orders shipped using Ground service will arrive in 2 – 6 business days depending on how far it has to travel. Allow 7-14 days outside of the continental US. Saturday delivery is available with FedEx Ground shipping for residential addresses only. Specific delivery dates are not guaranteed when using Ground service.Orders shipped using 2 Day Service will arrive in 2-3 business days. There is no Express delivery on weekends or holidays. If you order on a Thursday, Friday, or within one day of a holiday, we will not ship your order until Monday unless you call to tell us otherwise. Please note that the day the package is shipped does not count as one of the “2 Days.” (For example, packages shipped 2-Day on Monday will arrive Wednesday)FedEx Overnight Express shipping is always available and encouraged during the warmer months. Orders will be shipped overnight and guaranteed to arrive by 7pm the following day, not counting weekends. There is no Express delivery on Sundays or holidays. Early morning and Saturday delivery is available in limited areas, by request, at an additional charge. Please call/email us for more information on this service or to schedule delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: Cut-off time for same day shipping is 3 pm, Monday through Friday, CST; Fedex Ground delivers to businesses Monday through Friday, residences Tuesday through Saturday.
